The Flamethrowers are an American rock and roll band formed in the summer of 1984 by guitarist and skateboard legend Steve “Salba” Alba, drummer Edward “Evil” Neville, bassist Rocko Occhiato and vocalist Kurt M. Ross. In November of 1984, guitar player Jeff Moses signed on and the band quickly became known as an impressive club draw in and around Southern California. Supporting headliners like Agent Orange, Rank & File, Guns n Roses and The Lords of the New Church - The Flamethrowers’ reputation for blistering live shows, street smart virtuosity and over the top, larger than life personalities - was steeped in a dirty bag of delta blues, rockabilly, pub, punk, garage rock and straight money glitter boogie.
For 31 years Flamethrowers have delivered the ROCK AND ROLL. As they power into their fourth decade, the jet fuel of youth and rebellion has seasoned into a jaw dropping brew of uncompromising, full tilt American boogie.
